Helena won the last time they faced Spain Park and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Helena Huskies walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Spain Park Jaguars.

Marlee Parsons spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Addison Draiss was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Lily Sanderson, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Helena's win bumped their record up to 14-7-2. As for Spain Park, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-9.

Coming up, Helena will square off against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Chelsea 4, Helena 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Spain Park, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Spain Park Jaguars face off against Springville Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
