If Granger wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kearns, they should've done a better job of containing Lia Benson. The Kearns Cougars breezed by the Granger Lancers to the tune of 52-25 on Friday thanks in part to Benson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played.

Marie Angilau-Lea was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Granger's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kato Makoni, who posted seven points and four steals, and Hoku Pili, who had seven points and six rebounds. Dj Barber also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
