Football Recap: Webster City Takes a Loss

Webster City played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Clear Lake Lions 47-7. The Lynx were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Webster City's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Clear Lake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Webster City will host Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clear Lake, they will venture away from home to face off against Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
