Softball Recap: Hobgood Charter Takes a Loss

Hobgood Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bear Grass Charter Bears, falling 15-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hobgood Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinsey Peel, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Peel is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Hobgood Charter's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bear Grass Charter, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

While Hobgood Charter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
