Volleyball Recap: Bishop LeBlond Find Success

Bishop LeBlond won the last time they faced Adrian and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Blackhawks 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since October 12, 2024.

Emily Conz paced Bishop LeBlond's offense, picking up seven kills. Conz got some help from Kendall Cathcart and her 13 assists. Conz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Katie Sego, racking up three apiece.

Bishop LeBlond has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Adrian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Bishop LeBlond has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Webb City on the 30th. As for Adrian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Plattsburg on the 30th.
