Liberty had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Point Grizzlies an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Liberty, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 12-5-1. As for North Point, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
