Football Recap: Marion Harding Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pleasant last Friday, Marion Harding came back down to earth. The Presidents lost to the Highland Fighting Scots at home by a 28-14 margin on Thursday. The Presidents haven't had much luck with the Fighting Scots recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Marion Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Highland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Marion Harding has already played their next game, a 28-20 loss against Galion on the 17th. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to challenge Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Fighting Scots will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
