Baseball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett fell victim to DeWitt and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Everett now has a losing record of 1-2. As for DeWitt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Everett is set to square off against their familiar foe East Lansing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, DeWitt will challenge rival Okemos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
