Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Levi Myers and Ben Muela Kiser Lead Hammond to Victory

Hammond won the last time they faced Pinewood Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Skyhawks snuck past the Panthers with a 21-16 win.

Leading Hammond to victory were Ben Muela Kiser and Levi Myers. Muela Kiser rushed for 130 yards and one TD on only six carries, while Myers rushed for 104 yards and one score. Muela Kiser's longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hammond was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 302 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.
