Soccer Recap: Issaquah Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Issaquah was not quite Hazen's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Highlanders. While losing is never fun, Issaquah can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Hazen are ranked sixth).

This is the second loss in a row for Issaquah and nudges their season record down to 6-8-2. As for Hazen, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 16-0-1.

Issaquah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hazen, they will challenge Lake Stevens at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
