Volleyball Recap: New Bridge Academy Comes Up Short

New Bridge Academy lost against Salem Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders came up short against Salem Christian, falling 3-0.

New Bridge Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-23.

New Bridge Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Salem Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

New Bridge Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against James River HomeSchool on the 14th. As for Salem Christian, after both having extra time off, they and West End Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
