Shadle Park lost against Ferris back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders fell just short of the Saxons by a score of 8-6. The Highlanders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shadle Park saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Pugh, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run was Pugh's first of the season. Another was Carsyn Baldwin, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Shadle Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Ferris, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-13 record.

While Shadle Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
