The Bishop Snyder Cardinals will face off against the Bartram Trail Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Snyder will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Bishop Snyder's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Middleburg as they made off with a 12-0 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Cole Dennis made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Cody Boshell was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Tripp Hannah, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
Bishop Snyder always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Middleburg only posted an OBP of .176.
Meanwhile, Bartram Trail didn't have quite enough to beat Bolles on Friday and fell 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
Croix DiBacco was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Dominic Cantona made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Wilkerson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Bartram Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Bishop Snyder, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.
Bishop Snyder took their win against Bartram Trail when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
