Baseball Recap: Timberland Takes a Loss

Timberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-2 to the Philip Simmons Iron Horses. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Iron Horses this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Philip Simmons, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Timberland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Philip Simmons, they have already played their next game, a 7-5 defeat against Atlantic Shores Christian on the 14th.
