Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne lost against St. Albans last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pioneers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Dragons. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 13-25-1. As for St. Albans, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-14 record this season.

Wayne will take on Charleston Catholic on Thursday. As for St. Albans, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Sissonville on the 21st.
