Basketball Game Preview: Greene Trojans vs. Delaware Academy Bulldogs

The Greene Trojans will take on the Delaware Academy Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Greene comes in on four and Delaware Academy on six.

On Wednesday, Greene made easy work of Windsor Central and carried off a 63-41 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Delaware Academy hadn't done well against Unatego recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Delaware Academy took down Unatego 53-35. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly 18 points.

Delaware Academy pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points over those games. As for Greene, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Greene didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Delaware Academy in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 32-27 win.
