Softball Recap: King's Way Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Kalama

King's Way Christian had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Kalama Chinooks by a score of 9-8.

Grace Wickum was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lauren Lewis, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

The win was the third in a row for Kalama, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

While King's Way Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
