Basketball Game Preview: Hilliard Red Flashes vs. Fort White Indians

Hilliard is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Madison County with a sharp 65-39 victory. The Red Flashes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hilliard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alyssa Hallman, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. The matchup was Hallman's fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Molly Dean was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Fort White beat Trenton 52-43 on Thursday.

Fort White's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Hilliard, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.

Hilliard strolled past Fort White in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 53-38. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Fort White's Isreal Hart, who posted 22 points and three steals.
