Volleyball Recap: Skyview Takes Down Ranked Cathedral Catholic

Skyview is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Cathedral Catholic. The Hawks came out on top against the Dons by a score of 2-0. The Hawks were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Dons, so the Hawks were just returning the favor.

Bellamie Beus paced Skyview's offense, picking up ten kills. Beus got some help from Lyla McClure and her 16 assists. Finally, Gabby Buckley kept Skyview's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Skyview is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Cathedral Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

Skyview has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Harrisburg on the 20th. As for Cathedral Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mira Costa on the 20th.
