Soccer Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

If Laurel was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Hamilton last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Locomotives fell just short of the Billings Central Catholic Rams by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Laurel couldn't quite close it out.

Laurel now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Billings Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Laurel will face off against rival Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Billings Central Catholic is set to take on their familiar foe East Helena at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
