Volleyball Recap: Agoura Starts off Right with Win over Moorpark

Agoura took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Moorpark Musketeers 3-2. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Musketeers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Agoura was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 23-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-5.

Moorpark is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Agoura will face off against Royal at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moorpark, they will take on Calabasas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
