Basketball Recap: Salt Fork Comes Up Short

Salt Fork was the 40-32 winner over Seeger when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Storm fell 41-32 to the Patriots on Saturday.

Caleigh Purcell was a one-woman wrecking crew For Seeger. as she posted 11 points along with six boards and six steals. Lorelei Lanie was another key player, shooting 40% from the field on her way to 19 points and three steals.

Salt Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Seeger, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Salt Fork will head out to square off against Fisher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seeger, they will welcome Lafayette Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
