Overton won the last time they faced Chase County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Longhorns. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Daisy Ryan paced Overton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ryan got some help from Kyla Elfgren and her 25 assists. Ryan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Chase County, they moved to 5-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
