Baseball Recap: John Glenn Victorious

The John Glenn Knights earned a 7-2 win over the Pierson Whalers on Saturday.

Jake Mullman was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Connor Bletsch was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

The victory got John Glenn back to even at 1-1. As for Pierson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Pierson will square off against Center Moriches at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. John Glenn will be paying especially close attention to the Whalers' game: after the Whalers faces off against Southampton, they'll take on John Glenn again at 2:00 p.m. on the 19th.
