The North Surry Greyhounds will square off against the Forbush Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Surry will be strutting in after a victory while Forbush will be coming in after a defeat.

North Surry is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Wilkes Central: they outscored them in every quarter. North Surry blew past Wilkes Central 47-21 on Friday. Considering the Greyhounds have won three matches by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Forbush entered their matchup against West Wilkes on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Forbush fell 20-12 to West Wilkes. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Tyler Winters, who threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Joseph Barnes was Winters' top target, picking up 109 receiving yards and a touchdown.

North Surry's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. As for Forbush, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
