Recap: Lincoln Lynx vs. Victor Pirates
With a playoff game on the line, the Lincoln Lynx rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Pirates 70-26 on the road. Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Brown, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five steals. Brown is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Wesson Dempster, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Victor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Lincoln will be playing at home against Drummond at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Drummond will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight. As for Victor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
