Soccer Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Quincy can now relate to. They came up short against the Granite City Warriors on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Quincy struggled afterwards.

Quincy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season. As for Granite City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-5 record this season.

Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granite City, they will be playing at home against O'Fallon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Granite City will need to watch out since O'Fallon have now posted at least four goals in their last five matchups.
