Miyamura lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bloomfield, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Patriots put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 16-5 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won nine games by ten runs or more so far this season.

ALEXIS BEGAY spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
