Recap: Fort Wayne Snider Panthers vs. Noblesville Millers

The Fort Wayne Snider Panthers and the Noblesville Millers squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Millers by a score of 43-40. Fort Wayne Snider's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tia Phinezy, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Poole, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

Meredith Tippner was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds for Noblesville. Tippner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Reagan Wilson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.

Fort Wayne Snider's loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Noblesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Fort Wayne Snider does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Noblesville is on the road again on Saturday and plays Valparaiso at 12:00 p.m. on February 17th. Hopefully Valparaiso focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
