Basketball Recap: Old Orchard Beach Comes Up Short

Old Orchard Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 60-43 fall against the Monmouth Academy Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seagulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-44 back in December of 2024.

Old Orchard Beach's record is now 1-7. As for Monmouth Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Orchard Beach will venture away from home to face off against Waynflete at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monmouth Academy, they will square off against Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
