Volleyball Recap: South Columbus Comes Up Short

If South Columbus was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Columbus on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stallions fell just short of the East Columbus Gators by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Stallions haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

South Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Columbus will venture away from home to challenge Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Columbus, they will head out to face off against North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Gators their first taste of in-conference action this season.
