Santa Fe fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Smithton on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 16-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. On the bright side, the 13- run effort marked the Chiefs' highest-scoring match to date.
