Preview: Grace Lutheran Royals vs. Taylor's Crossing Eagles
Grace Lutheran is 7-2 against Taylor's Crossing since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Grace Lutheran Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Taylor's Crossing Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Grace Lutheran's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Rockland, falling 56-6. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grace Lutheran has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Taylor's Crossing came up short against Mackay on Tuesday and fell 59-49. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Taylor's Crossing in their matchups with Mackay: they've now lost four in a row.
Grace Lutheran now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Taylor's Crossing, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Grace Lutheran barely slipped by Taylor's Crossing when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 40-39. Does Grace Lutheran have another victory up their sleeve, or will Taylor's Crossing turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
