Providence Classical Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Micah Spurbeck, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards, and Emma Hansen, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten steals. The dominant performance also gave Spurbeck a new career-high in steals (five). Naomi Sparks was another key player, putting up six points and seven steals.

Providence Classical Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Providence Classical Christian Academy better focus on containing Bristol Barron and Trina Scheltens as the pair were huge in Liberty Christian Academy's win. Barron posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals, while Scheltens put up six points along with six assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Roden, who scored six points.

Liberty Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Providence Classical Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
