Softball Recap: Warsaw Sets Scoring Season-High Against Huntington North

Warsaw hadn't done well against Huntington North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 18-11 win. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Raegan Robinson was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Addyson Sainer was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Warsaw kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

With the victory, Warsaw broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7. As for Huntington North, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Warsaw will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair will be back at it again later today.
