The New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders will take on the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks on Friday. New Creation Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
New Creation Christian Academy will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Abundant Life Christian Academy on Monday. The Crusaders blew past the Lions 11-1. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Austin Jones made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over 4.1 innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cade Anderson was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Wesley Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Harvester Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heritage.
Harvester Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greg Stoeckig, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Stoeckig has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.
New Creation Christian Academy's record is now 12-6. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. New Creation Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Harvester Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went New Creation Christian Academy's way against Harvester Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, as New Creation Christian Academy made off with a 15-5 win.
