Basketball Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

Campbell County lost against South-Doyle back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars lost 71-48 to the Cherokees. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Campbell County still got an impressive performance from Jake Hatmaker, who posted 11 points. Jack Sexton was another key player, putting up eight points.

Campbell County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for South-Doyle, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Campbell County will take on West Greene at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South-Doyle, they will challenge Cumberland Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cherokees will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
