WestSide piles up the points against Liberty

Recap: WestSide Renegades vs. Liberty Raiders

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tug Valley, the WestSide Renegades were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 84-33 victory over Liberty. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-12.

WestSide can attribute much of their success to Austin Bishop, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists. The matchup was Bishop's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brayden French, who scored 11 points.

WestSide now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Liberty, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

WestSide will be home for the holidays to greet Mingo Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mingo Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 296 points over their last four matches. Liberty will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on James Monroe at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
