Preview: Highland Fighting Scots vs. Oak Harbor Rockets
The Highland Fighting Scots will square off against the Oak Harbor Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Highland's game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 21-17 win over Liberty-Benton.
Dane Nauman had a dynamite game for Highland, rushing for 158 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown. Nauman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
Meanwhile, Oak Harbor put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 49-20 win over Otsego at home. The result was nothing new for Oak Harbor, who have now won ten matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Highland now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Oak Harbor, their win was their 13th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0.
