Thompson faced Vestavia Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rebels. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Jayla Green paced Thompson's offense, picking up seven kills. Green got some help from Maddy Henderson and her 11 assists.

Thompson's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Vestavia Hills, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Thompson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Montgomery Academy on the 9th. As for Vestavia Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Calera on the 8th.
