Basketball Game Preview: Odin/Patoka vs. Red Hill Salukis

Odin/Patoka will face off against the Red Hill Salukis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Odin/Patoka earned a 57-49 win over Mulberry Grove. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Odin/Patoka.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Hill). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Dugger Union 74-28. Winning may never get old, but the Salukis sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Red Hill's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Odin/Patoka, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Odin/Patoka was able to grind out a solid victory over Red Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 58-51. Will Odin/Patoka repeat their success, or does Red Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
