Preview: Columbia vs. North Forrest
On Friday, North Forrest are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Columbia at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against North Forrest, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
North Forrest found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-43 punch to the gut against Magee last Friday. North Forrest were down by 0-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, everything went Columbia's way against East Marion last week as they made off with a 49-20 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.
Columbia's victory lifted them to 2-0 while North Forrest's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Columbia can add another positive mark to their record or if North Forrest can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Columbia's step.
