Football Game Preview: Westbrook Christian Warriors vs. Geraldine Bulldogs + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Brody Blevins and Jon Beck Wade are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Westbrook Christian Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Geraldine Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Westbrook Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Vinemont get on the board and left with a 49-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Westbrook Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brodey Wood led the charge by rushing for 61 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Meanwhile, Geraldine humbled Rogers with a 59-27 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Pirates are ranked 222nd) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Geraldine's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Westbrook Christian, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-1.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Westbrook Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 173.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Geraldine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 312.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Westbrook Christian might still be hurting after the 30-7 loss they got from Geraldine in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
