Freedom is 1-9 against Strawberry Crest since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Patriots will welcome the Chargers at 7:00 p.m.
Freedom is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 13th on Monday. They lost 22-7 to Wesley Chapel. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

David Simpkins was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Freedom's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is 2-1 (and 8-11 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Hall, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Strawberry Crest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Alonso on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since February 11th.
Brisen Tweedy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Strawberry Crest's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chase Conti, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Strawberry Crest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Freedom has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Strawberry Crest struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
