After a string of 17 wins, Lee's Summit West's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Kickapoo Chiefs. Considering the last time the Titans couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Tori Massengill paced Lee's Summit West's offense, picking up eight kills. Massengill got some help from Taelyn Bowie and her ten assists. Harper Ahlquist controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lee's Summit West's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Kickapoo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.

Lee's Summit West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Liberty on the 4th. As for Kickapoo, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Staley on the 4th.
