Basketball Recap: Bear Creek Comes Up Short

Bear Creek and Chelan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bear Creek had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 69-51 to the Chelan Mountain Goats. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Caleb Branch was Bear Creek's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Bear Creek's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Chelan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

Bear Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chelan, they have already played their next game, a 67-46 defeat against Royal on the 6th.
