Basketball Game Preview: Penn Treaty Wolves vs. Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech

The Penn Treaty Wolves will face off against Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Penn Treaty's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Penn Treaty is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bodine just ended the team's five-game winning streak last Monday. They fell 43-34 to Bodine.

Despite the loss, Penn Treaty had strong showings from Isabella Ortiz, who went 5 for 12 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, and Aliyah Rogers, who posted 11 points along with four steals and three blocks. That was a full 44.1% of Penn Treaty's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malayah Brown, who scored two points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Prep Charter on Monday, taking the game 49-42.

Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Penn Treaty, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
