Softball Recap: Montague's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Montague's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 13-10 victory over the Grant Tigers. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 13-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Jocelyn Rodriguez-Perez, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Chloe Boutell, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

Montague moved to 2-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Montague beat the Tigers by a score of 15-13 later that day.
