Football Recap: Holtville Takes a Loss

Holtville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Imperial Tigers and fell 47-0. The Vikings lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 25-14 score last time.

Holtville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Imperial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holtville is set to take on their familiar foe Southwest EC at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Imperial will face off against rival Vincent Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
