While Moses Lake's win against Eisenhower wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mavericks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Cadets on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Mavericks sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Moses Lake pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Eisenhower, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Moses Lake and Eisenhower will both be playing Wenatchee the next time they take the field. The Cadets will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mavericks will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
